Looking for something to do on St. Patrick's Day in Lincoln? Well, March is a month that entails a sure-fire whirlwind of activity here at Nebraska Realty, where the busy season is upon us and we are staging, prepping, negotiating, and active in the community finding the ideal home for you! We fondly anticipate the time of year where it’s ideal to try a new flavor of a pint, pinch someone if they aren’t wearing green, and imagine the beautiful rainy field and crowded pubs of Ireland. We wanted to give you are a roundup of fun things to do in Lincoln during this great time when it’s also an exciting opportunity to begin kissing the cold days of winter goodbye!

Here are some great things to do this St Patrick’s Day here, where it’s rightful time to celebrate cheer with friends, and the freedom of life in general beginning to open back up and offer awesome recreational opportunities.

Paws and Draws St. Paddy’s Day Theme: All month long at 1867 Bar right in the heart of it all on O Street, Laura from Always and Furever Photography will be on-site with a fun scene to photograph your furry friends in. The benefit of the event is for the always-on-deck Phoenix Remix Rescue, a state-licensed volunteer rescue that extends its loving hands to the lives of neglected and at-risk animals that desperately want to live with you in your newly purchased home! Even if you’re not currently looking to adopt, you can still bring in your dog to meet the gang and build collective relationships with other canine-loving Lincolnites!

St Patrick’s Weekend at Kinkaider: This celebration involves not just one, but 3 fun-filled days of Shenanigans as folly-filled as if they derived from the cobblestone streets of Dublin themselves! There is live music every day, and world-class Irish Fare is available. March 17th you’ll be able to enjoy food from Clocktower’s splendid Grata restaurant during each night’s celebration, and music from Pete Mulligan from 7-10 pm. On March 18th, Daniel and the Deliverance will be bringing their smiles and sounds to the festive stage for live music, and on March 19th you can get your spring groove on with your green outfits front and center on the dance floor to the sound of the Wildwoods.

St Patty’s Day With the Killigans at the Bourbon Theatre: It’s really a no-brainer when it comes to the Midwest’s premier Irish band performing at the Star City’s coolest downtown venue! These rowdy and talented individuals were the brains and instruments behind “The Cornhusker” song about our beloved home team and are bringing along their friends in the prime and proper form of the Vandon Arms and Flatfoot 56. This seven-piece folk-punk band from Lincoln bodes well with classic elements of storytelling that range from love ballads to full-out working-class anthems, and they are THE Lincoln breed of talent that is the quintessential St Patty’s Day blend of tunes to get your glass raised up in a hurry. This is Lincoln’s St Patty’s Day event that defines the spirit to the T, and requires YOUR presence to get the ultimate party started.
