President/Owner

Andy Alloway is the owner and President/CEO of Nebraska Realty. He began his career in the real estate industry in 2001 with DEEB & Associates Real Estate which is now Nebraska Realty. By 2004 Andy became the company’s general manager, and later purchased the company in 2009. Andy serves on the Board of Directors for the Omaha Area Board of REALTORS®, and the Nebraska REALTORS® Association. He is a past President of the Omaha Area Board of REALTORS®, and past Chairman of the Great Plains REALTORS® MLS. Andy was appointed by the Governor to the Nebraska Real Estate Commission in 2013 where he is currently serving as a commissioner. He also serves as a National Association of REALTORS® Federal Political Coordinator to Congressman Don Bacon. Over his career Andy has helped lead Nebraska Realty’s growth from a small 20 agent company to the largest independent brokerage in Nebraska with over 550 REALTORS® and offices in Omaha, Papillion, Midtown, Lincoln, and Council Bluffs. Andy was recognized as the Midland’s Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Business Person of the Year for 2015, and the REALTOR® of the Year in 2018 by the Omaha Area Board of REALTORS®. His volunteer activities include Chariots4Hope, the Open-Door Mission, the Hope Center for Kids, the Ronald McDonald House and he is a youth coach for baseball, football and basketball. Andy enjoys spending time with his two children and reading and traveling.

Born and raised in Omaha, NE, Christy prides herself in knowing the surrounding communities where she and her husband live and raise their two active boys, Paxton and Xander. Christy is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. As a member of the Nebraska Realty staff in some capacity for over 15 of her 17+ years in the industry, Christy has learned a great deal with and from so many of our agents at Nebraska Realty. Having a broker’s license in both Nebraska and Iowa, her sales experience has been an asset in helping agents through the unique transactions that tend to present themselves.

Christy is now Nebraska Realty’s Vice President of Operations, and Senior Managing Broker, but is not afraid to wear any “hat” that needs to be worn and feels privileged to be a part of the growth and success of the company. Christy is always there to help not only agents but clients to navigate even the hardest situations with respect and patience.

Shawn Ilg

Vice President, General Counsel & Associate Broker

Shawn serves as Vice President, General Counsel & Associate Broker, and in that role, oversees business development, commercial real estate, business sales, recruitment and legal affairs for Nebraska Realty. He has been affiliated with the firm for over 15 years as a broker and over 5 years on staff. Shawn brings over 28 years of business experience to NR, and his areas of expertise include real estate, finance, law, operations, human resources, insurance, and information technology. Shawn started his career in banking, and after obtaining his MBA and law degrees, he became a partner in the law firm of Downing Alexander Wood & Ilg. He next co-founded CoSentry, a data center and disaster recovery firm with multiple facilities in the Midwest. Shawn has handled over $400 million worth of real estate and business sale transactions. He has helped numerous start-ups as an attorney, partner, and/or participant and knows what it takes to take companies to the next level. Shawn has always been active in the community, and most of his time has been spent with Nebraska Leadership Seminar, a non-profit group that conducts leadership and business programs for high school students. He and his wife, Anna, have four kids ranging in age from 9 to 21, and they enjoy travelling, sports, and various collectibles.

Deda Myhre

Managing Broker

Deda joined the Nebraska Realty family in 2015 as the Omaha office Managing Broker. Before real estate, Deda was an early childhood educator.  She graduated Cum Laude from UNO with a double degree in Elementary and Early Childhood education. After being relocated with her husband’s job 4 times in a 16-year period and buying and selling homes because of it, she decided that real estate was a natural fit and decided to make it a career. She got her real estate license in 2001 and her broker’s license in 2012.  Deda’s passion for learning and helping other agents grow and succeed, led her to a path in management. She takes great pride in being a resource for the Nebraska Realty agents. She enthusiastically leads the weekly sales meetings as well as accountability groups and training classes within the company.

Outside of real estate, Deda loves spending time with her son and daughter-in-law (Alex and Kenzie) and husband Chris, attending concerts, finding a good happy hour or new favorite restaurant, watching sports or taking advantage of the many great activities the community has to offer.   She also cherishes the role of Mimi to her grandson Jack and you will find her visiting him and his parents (Kayla and Johnny) in California as much as possible!

Kelly Jourdan

In addition to being a REALTOR® and Managing Broker, Kelly is also the Director of Agent Services at Nebraska Realty. She received her real estate license in May 2005 and became a part of the staff shortly after. Kelly now handles many of the day-to-day agent support items, agent onboarding process, and manages many of the company’s tech tools such as Dotloop & Imprev. In 2017, she created and remains an active member of the Nebraska Realty Kindness Crew. Prior to real estate, Kelly enjoyed a successful career as a hairdresser. On a more personal note Kelly is a devoted Christian, the wife of Derek, mentor to Cemaria, and a baker.

Jim O’Neale

Director of New Construction Services & Facilities Manager

Originally from a small town in the Northeast Nebraska Jim’s strong work ethic took shape early on working in the construction industry. He attended Northeast College in Norfolk NE where he earned an associate degree in Architectural Design and Surveying. Following college knowing a job behind a drafting desk was not for him he began working in construction again eventually becoming a job superintendent and foreman. In the early 90’s Jim began working in sales and eventually his sales career came full circle coupling with his construction knowledge and background. He got his real estate license in 2004 and almost immediately began working in new home sales. When Andy purchased the company in 09’ Jim became a part time member of the staff serving as a resource to agents representing builders as well as those doing new home transactions. As business grew so did Jim’s role in the company to full time and then as a facilities director as well. Jim likes to be involved in community service and his faith. Of all his diverse life experiences and job titles his favorite is being a Father to his daughter and son-in-law and a grandfather to his two young granddaughters. Spending time with family is Jim’s favorite past time.

Rebecca Sain

Rebecca began her real estate career in 2003 in San Diego, CA. Her experience includes loan processing, title and escrow, trust accounting, administration, sales, and management. She attained her broker’s license in 2013. Rebecca joined Nebraska Realty in 2018 as the Sarpy County Managing Broker. Her goal is to help others by sharing her knowledge and experience to help guide them on their paths to success. She understands the importance of providing quality service, up-to-date information, and sound real estate advice to educate and assist agents in building relationships and satisfying their clients through even the most challenging transactions.

Rebecca and her family moved to Offutt AFB in 2007 and she has thoroughly enjoyed living in and watching her children grow up in a smaller, tight-knit community than what she experienced while growing up in California. Rebecca takes delight in spending time with her two sons, Jarron and Conor. During the summer they can often be found at the nearby elementary school throwing a football or shooting hoops. One of their favorite activities is to take road trips to explore new places. Rebecca also favors the tranquility of running around the nearby lakes while observing the scenery and wildlife.

Thane Jensen

Thane’s career in real estate began in 1994 when he was first licensed as a salesperson. Within 4 years he earned his broker’s license. Since then he has been very involved with the Realtor’s Association of Lincoln and was on the Board of Directors including as the President in 2017. Thane is also active with the Nebraska Realtor’s Association & the National Associations of Realtors, where he is the state representative on the Professional Standards Committee. He joined Nebraska Realty in 2017 and is a Managing Broker in the Lincoln office. As well, Thane was appointed in 2019, by Governor Ricketts, for a 5-year term to the Nebraska Abstractor’s Board of Examiners.

Thane enjoys spending time with his family. He has 3 sons (Rowdy, Yancey and Wyatt). He enjoys boat time on the lakes, or practice time at his shooting range.

Chuck Burney

Director of Education

Chuck graduated from the Wayne State College and began his teaching career in 1984. Chuck taught and coached in Valley, NE for two years before taking his gradebook and whistle to Millard South High School.  After 29 years in Millard, Chuck took early retirement and became the Director of Education for Nebraska Realty.

In 1995, Chuck acquired his real estate license and sold for a small company called Preferred Real Estate.  In April of 1996 Preferred Real Estate merged with Deeb Realty.   In April of 2019, Chuck will be starting his 24th year with Nebraska Realty/Deeb Realty, thus earning him the designation as Nebraska Realty's longest tenured agent.

Chuck's passions include his family (wife Kathy and two children, Abbie and Jayme), traveling, golfing, hanging out with friends, and selling real estate.

Matt Hover

Director of Agent Academy

Matt graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2000 with degrees in German and History, followed by obtaining his master’s degree in History at the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2004. After obtaining his real estate license in 2005 he joined what is now Nebraska Realty, and has been at the company as a Realtor his entire career. Matt was hired onto the staff in 2012 as the Agent Recruitment Director to oversee outreach and recruiting programs for both new and existing agents. He now serves as the Director of Agent Academy. Matt lives on a small acreage north of Omaha with his wife, Katie, and son William, and they are expecting a new addition in the fall of 2019. Living on the acreage allows for one of Matt’s main interests, gardening, as well as allowing for plenty of room for his two German Shorthaired Pointers, Stella and Patsy to run around. Other interests include hunting, fishing, cooking and watching his favorite sports teams.

Matt Robak joined Nebraska Realty as a REALTOR in 2014 and started his role as Marketing Director in 2016. Matt's responsibilities with the company include advising agents, creating marketing materials, and developing marketing strategies for the brokerage.

After earning a Bachelors in Advertising degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Matt founded a small advertising agency that focused on helping local businesses and organizations solve their marketing problems. Working with local clients and smaller budgets throughout his career taught Matt to get extremely creative in his approach as large TV, radio, and print campaigns cost tens of thousands of dollars. Matt applies this experience when developing strategies for Nebraska Realty agents as many of them have limited marketing budgets as well.

Matt is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Omaha Area Board of Realtors, the Columbus Area Board of Realtors, and the American Advertising Federation of Omaha.

Matt and his wife Erin have two young children. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, writing terrible songs with his guitar, and hanging out with his family. In the fall, you can find Matt at Memorial Stadium cheering on his alma mater.

Born and raised in Omaha, Jennifer left for 8 years having the opportunity to live in New Jersey and Kansas while her husband played for the NFL. She returned to Omaha in 2008 to set down new roots with her husband Chris, two children (Austin & Hanna), and beloved dogs. Before leaving Omaha

she received a Bachelor’s Degree from University of Nebraska Omaha, and went on to get her Masters Degree from Fairleigh Dickenson University in New Jersey. After spending 7 years in marketing, sales, business development and recruiting Jennifer joined Nebraska Realty as an agent, alongside her husband. She fell in love with real estate and enjoyed building a real estate business with Chris. Most recently she has joined the NR family as part of the recruiting team, having the opportunity to combine her real estate experience with her love of business development. What matters most to Jennifer is making a real human connection, helping people become educated and supporting them as they make the best decision for their future. This passion translates to both real estate clients with their biggest investment, or new and existing agents looking to learn more about Nebraska Realty and how it can make their business a success.

Technical Services Director

Mark joined the Nebraska Realty team in early 2018. His background varies from coffeeshop/donut shop owner to 20 years in the construction business. His computer experience spans 25 years, with the last 15 years consisting of teaching technology to real estate agents and tending to any computer needs/issues they may have, at home or work. He has taught back office programs, Microsoft programs and Social Networks, to name a few.

His duties now have expanded to administering the entire network, in 4 offices, with 40+ employees and 600+ agents.

Mark moved to the Omaha area in 2002, where he raised his two children, in the Elkhorn area. His hobbies include wood working, golf and watching a lot of football!

Grace was born and raised in Seward, NE and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration.  Upon graduating, she moved to Omaha to work as a financial analyst for Milliman, an actuarial consulting firm.  In the fall of 2016, after providentially hearing of an open position with Nebraska Realty, she jumped at the opportunity and accepted a job in the Accounting Department.  She now oversees a variety of tasks involving finance, accounting and statistics.  Grace moved to Sioux Falls, SD in the summer of 2018 after marrying her husband Caleb and works remotely for the company.  She enjoys the outdoors, fitness, baking and drinking coffee, but in all of life her greatest joy and highest aim is to love God and the people around her.

Jen was born and raised in West Lafayette, Indiana, where she graduated from Purdue university with a degree in Business Management.  She began her career in banking with Purdue Federal Credit Union before taking a position in Development for the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University.  2 years later she moved back into the Business Management world with Purdue’s College of Agriculture where she spent over 7 years managing federal research and extension funding for the College.  Her family moved to Omaha in 2016, and after some time at home with her three boys, she went back to school with them as a Special Education Teachers’ Assistant at Skyline Elementary.  In 2019 she decided it was time to follow her passions of real estate and numbers, feeling blessed to join the Nebraska Realty accounting team getting back into the business world.  Jen’s life revolves around her three boys (Andrew, Rylan and Easton) and all their activities.  She loves traveling and living each day to the fullest!

Jill was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. She graduated from Burke High School and the University of Nebraska with a Degree in Business Management and a Minor in Accounting. She has worked in the Real Estate Industry for the past 22 years. In 2014, she started working for Nebraska Realty in the Accounting Department.

She is a single mom who raised 2 boys, Louie 31, who lives in Omaha and Jake who is 29 years old and lives in Colorado.

In her spare time, she loves spending time outdoors working in her yard, and garden. She loves when football season comes around…you’ll find her cheering on her favorite team, the New England Patriots.

Jeri Beth arrived in Omaha from Maryland 23 years ago, after finishing up her elementary education degree and marrying an Omaha native. She decided to make the transition to the real estate world after running an in-home daycare and preschool for 18 years. Although she received her real estate license in 2010, she didn’t join the staff at Nebraska Realty until 2015 working at the Front Desk and in the Listings Department. Now she’s in the Pending Department where you can find her during the day processing contracts and helping agents with their paperwork. Jeri Beth is still an active real estate agent and enjoys helping her clients find their dream home.

Jeri Beth loves to spend time with her husband Dennis and their four almost grown children. Besides her family, she enjoys volunteering with her church, reading, and watching old movies.

Karri graduated from Bellevue University in 2005 with a B.S. in Business. She was employed with a local utility for 26 years and worked in Communications and Marketing. In 2017 she decided to shift careers and get her real estate license. She chose Nebraska Realty as the first brokerage to work for. In 2018 she was hired at Nebraska Realty as a part-time Administrator in the Listings Department.  Karri currently works in both Listings and Pending Departments.

Karri has two teenage children (a daughter, a Sophomore in college and a son, a Senior in HS) and three stepchildren. She loves dogs and fosters for Big Red Rescue in Lincoln. She and her husband enjoy golfing and live on a golf course so they can play often.

Lauren Mesick has been with Nebraska Realty since she became a licensed Agent in October of 2017. Prior to coming to NR, she was an assistant property manager for multiple apartment complexes across Omaha, and before that, she had endless jobs in customer service. Aside from her work in real estate, she loves being a mom to her son, Liam, and her goofy yellow Labrador, Sonny Bear. If there is any time left in her schedule, she enjoys using her creative side for painting, photography, and singing.

Gina is a Westside HS and UNL graduate with a Bachelor of Journalism / Advertising degree. She is married to Don who is the Chief Building Official for the City of Fremont & a Bryan HS / UNO grad. Her daughter Alexa, lives in midtown & works at OrthoNebraska. She also has 4 grown stepchildren & 3 grandkids!

Professionally, Gina has been a licensed Realtor since 1996. She has enjoyed working in corporate relocation & for many top producers in our industry. The real estate path has allowed her to coach soccer for many years & gave her the opportunity to be flexible for all 5 children. Currently an empty nester, Gina is bored if not working every day! She enjoys being involved with her fellow co-workers & Realtors daily. "It’s a great way to keep my pulse on the market, this is just a fun industry & family like environment!"

Karla is originally from sunny California. She moved to Omaha, NE 11 years ago. Karla is married and has 3 boys (Aaron, Alex and Anthony)

In February 2015, Karla decided it was time to make a career change and became a REALTOR. She continues to apply her passion of working with people/families by making connections in real estate. In November 2015, she transferred to Nebraska Realty and joined the Administration staff in April 2016.

When Karla is not working, she spends her free time with her family. She enjoys watching her boys play sports and cheering them on because she’s their number ONE fan.

Tiffany became a staff member at Nebraska Realty in July of 2012. She was hired on to work at the front desk and did so for several years, before transitioning into the back office to process listing and purchase agreements. You can also find her working in her office on training/ duty calendar tasks and organizing the office’s supply rooms/ inventory. Tiffany enjoys spending time with her family (husband Ryan and two children, Emmett and Levi), but also loves her alone time, especially to read.

Denise is a graduate of Omaha South High School. She attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha for a short time before settling down to raise her family. She and her husband of 18 years, Russ, raised two handsome boys (Anthony and Hunter) of which they are most proud of! Her oldest son Anthony has given her the gift of a very spirited and beautiful granddaughter named Avianna and her youngest son Hunter is currently a full-time student at UNO and working for Nebraska Medicine. She is an avid animal lover and her dog Shasta and cat Mr. Biggz complete her family.

Denise joined Nebraska Realty in 2018 and can be found most days at the front desk-quick to offer a warm smile or refreshing drink. When she is not being the ‘Director of First Impressions’ she enjoys spending time with her family at their cabin in Yankton, SD. She also enjoys reading books, her favorite author being Stephen King, and watching movies in her spare time (the scarier the better!).

Jane has over 10 years of experience in the Omaha Real Estate market. She has worked as a Personal Real Estate Assistant for most of those 10 years. With her strong people skills and organizational skills, she was able to give her agents the help they needed when it came to their business. Whether it was as their transaction coordinator, the one to personally interact with those concerned with a property, marketing or giving a helpful hand in the staging aspect of preparing a home for sale. She provided the skills necessary to complete each duty to its fullest.

When Jane isn’t in the Real Estate office you can find her with her husband of 23 years. They have a son and daughter who are both in college. She enjoys reading, being outside and spending time with family and friends.

Licensed since 2003, Kathy has over 16 years of experience in the Omaha Real Estate market. Kathy has extensive real estate sales and administrative experience. She has worked in various positions in the industry including Mortgage Loan Originator, Buyer’s Agent and a Relocation Specialist. For over 10 years, Kathy was the Office Manager for a top producing real estate team in Omaha. As the office manager for a group of agents, she worked with both buyers and sellers closing over 100 properties a year. For the past 3 years, Kathy has been a full time Sales Agent representing both buyers and sellers in the sale of residential property. She has a Business Degree in Marketing and has participated in numerous volunteer and charitable organizations over the years and is currently a member of the Southwest Omaha Kiwanis. Kathy is known for her honesty and having an eye for details; she takes pride in providing excellent customer service and exceeding expectations.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading and belongs to a local book club. She and her husband of 35 years love to travel south to sunny beaches. She loves spending time with her growing family, which includes 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren with more on the way!

Debbie graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism/Marketing. She moved to Lincoln shortly thereafter to start her career. Debbie worked for Sandhills Publishing, the Lincoln Journal Star Newspaper, and Woods Bros Realty before coming to Nebraska Realty. Debbie joined Nebraska Realty in February 2019 after 20 years with Woods Bros Realty. All her previous positions had been connected to Advertising & Marketing, but now her job focus is more administrative. Debbie enjoys traveling, photography, movies, and spending time with family and friends.

Jama joined the Nebraska Realty team as an Executive Assistant to Andy Alloway in January of 2019. Before her time at Nebraska Realty, she was with CSG for 14 years holding various sales and marketing positions working with customers on their print and digital communication and customer engagement strategies. She is excited about her change to this industry and using past experiences to grow with Nebraska Realty. When she isn’t in the office, she enjoys reading, golfing, traveling, watching sports (especially the Hawkeyes) and spending time with her husband, Andy, and their two children, Cooper and Sloan.

As a native of Elkhorn, NE Carrie was excited to back come home to Nebraska this year after living with her family in Hendersonville, TN the last few years.  Carrie and her husband Ron are the proud parents of 4 very active children and can be found spending their spare time chauffeuring kids from activity to activity:  rugby, dance team, gymnastics, baseball, and any school activity they want or need to attend.  In a rare occasion of down time you will find Carrie on the lake boating during the Summer if possible.  Carrie attended Northwest Missouri State before working as a manager at a fundraising company for 15 plus years, she has also worked for the Elkhorn School District, managed a gymnastics studio, and has taught numerous types of dance classes.  We are lucky to call Carrie one of our two amazing Event Coordinators, that through creativity and attention to detail take our agent events to a whole new level for our Nebraska Realty family.

Katie is one of our two amazing Event Coordinators at Nebraska Realty.  She is a graduate of Washburn University with a Bachelor’s in Communications and Minor in Marketing.  Upon completing her education, she held various sales roles in Nashville, TN before returning to Omaha to work in advertising sales with the Omaha World Herald Newspaper.  Katie then changed careers to work as a recruitment coordinator for a college before taking some time to focus on her family and work at the kid’s schools.  Katie and her husband enjoy vacationing in Colorado and attending local sporting events like the College World Series and Husker football games with their two children, Luke & Maggie.
