Russ holds a coveted degree in design from the College of Architecture from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and earned a real estate license in 2012 and a brokers license in 2016.  Russ has enjoyed helping others achieve the dream of home ownership and supports programs like Neighborworks that help first time buyers.  Russ stays engaged in his community and uses his real estate knowledge to help develop housing such as Antelope Square townhomes near 23rd and Q St., Cooper Commons at 9th and D St. and Roose Haven, a high end set of townhomes on the bike trail near 56th and Van Dorn.
