Melanie has lived in Lincoln for many years! As a television news reporter and anchor, she got to know the ins and outs of southeast Nebraska and the important people in it. She met politicians, was given a front row seat to significant events, and was there when Lincoln came together to celebrate big changes!

Melanie Dawkins holds the nationally recognized Seniors Real Estate Specialist designation from the Seniors Real Estate Specialist Council of the National Association of Realtors. Melanie successfully completed a comprehensive course in understanding the needs, considerations, and goals of real estate buyers and sellers aged 55 and older.

Working with seniors to meet their housing needs requires an expert understanding of their lifestyle and financial needs, and the SRES designation means that Melanie has that understanding that goes beyond the home seller -- it can often include involving family, such as adult children.
