Thank you for clicking on my page.
I was born and raised in Lincoln Nebraska as the youngest of 7 kids. I've lived in Omaha for more than half my life, moving here in '97 to attend art school at the Creative Center. I have a degree in graphic design and fine art. I worked in the graphic design field for a short period of time after getting married to my amazing husband, but then shifted gears for my most important project to date: Raising 6 humans with a masters in "Homemaker", "multitasker", "wearer of all the hats"...
My hobbies outside of Real Estate include hiking in the Colorado mountains, boating in the Ozarks, planting flowers at home, baking, holistic health, blogging, drinking coffee, singing in a worship band and chatting with our teenagers around the island late at night. As if 8 people in our family wasn't enough, we have two cats and one dog who we thoroughly enjoy. I value my faith, and the American dream. Paying it forward is my life's mission and leaving people better than how I found them is my greatest joy.
When our kids were young I worked as a commissioned artist selling my paintings and teaching art lessons out of my home studio. I later started a decorating company called "Project: Joy" where I renovated spaces with the help of my contractor hubby, and gave face lifts to rooms and furniture using my love of design and DIY skills. I'm a huge fan of organizing and problem solving while helping people to love the space they are in on whatever budget... and that includes finding houses!
It seemed only natural that when our kids were all in school, I would gravitate to a career where I could incorporate everything I love to do in one field. I am a fan of great communication. It's my job to tell you what's next in the process, prepare you for what's to come, to listen to what's important to you, and to find the best opportunity for you. Honest and open conversations are key! Searching for a house, or listing a home is exciting and a "nail biter" all at the same time. I'm there to support and guide you!
Whether it's listing your house, or buying a new home, or building, let's meet for coffee to discuss your options and the opportunities out there!
