Nebraska Realty in the Community

Nebraska Realty in the Community

Since our company was founded in 1993, giving back through charitable contributions, sponsorships, and community involvement has been a big part of who we are.

At Nebraska Realty, not only do we really enjoy giving back to those in need, but we believe it is our responsibility to help. Nebraska Realty has four primary charities that we donate to, and fundraise for, throughout the year. Not only does our company donate a portion of our revenue to these wonderful organizations, but we hold silent auctions, raffles, and collect donations at many of our company social events in order to raise more money. In addition, our REALTORS® have the ability to contribute directly from their checks to the charity of their choice.

We receive numerous requests each year requesting donations or sponsorships, and although we feel they are all great causes, we can only help so many. We have chosen to help fight homelessness, poverty, and hunger in our local community. We also contribute to treatment, care, research, and hopefully the eventual cure of childhood cancers and disease. Finally, we very much support, and are eternally grateful for the brave men and women that serve our country in the military. They are the reason we have the freedom to raise our families, operate our business, and live in the manner that each of us chooses. These charitable organizations include:

The Shelter Fund

A local 501c3 non-profit that donates 100% of all money collected to local homeless shelters and programs. Our company and the agents have funded the "Streets of Omaha" program that is out daily seeking individuals that are in need of food, water, or safe shelter, especially during the time of year we experience dangerously extreme temperatures.

The Food Bank for the Heartland

Mission: To provide emergency and supplemental food to the people in need in Nebraska and Western Iowa

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

The mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay.

Wounded Warrior Project

Mission: To Honor and Empower Wounded Warriors

In addition to the primary charitable organizations that we support, we also choose several other groups, charities, sponsorships, or worthy causes to contribute time or money to each year. Many of these groups are local to our community. We are a locally owned and operated company so supporting organizations that have a direct benefit in our community is very important to us. Here are some of the most recent companies we have supported:

Heart Heroes

Mission: To provide support and comfort to children and families affected by congenital heart defects (CHD) through the distribution of superhero capes and other forms of encouragement and inspiration.

We believe that patient-focused care heals the body, mind and spirit of every person. Our campus, designed for patients, sets the tone for a comfortable, less stressful hospital stay. As one of the most technologically advanced hospitals in the world, we provide a full range of services including: maternity, cancer and surgery care as well as diagnostics and emergency services.
