I am a REALTOR® with Nebraska Realty. I work as a Cardiac Monitor Non Invasive Specialist for Nebraska Methodist Health System.

I grew up in a working-class family in Omaha's near South side with 5 siblings while both of my parents worked full time. Sometimes more than one job at a time. I still consider $100,000 to be a significant amount of money to spend. I have worked on deals with experienced agents from across the city. They know if I bring them an offer, I will work to get it closed if that is at all possible. Let's put my knowledge and experience to work for you!

Building, buying, or selling a home can be a stressful process. My healthcare experience enables me to deal with the stress of a real estate transaction.

WHY (I became a REALTOR®):

My father was a carpenter by trade, and I started helping him on jobs as soon as I was able. I have always found the way things work and how they go together fascinating. Being familiar with the construction of homes guided me towards this path. I was seeking a new way to supplement my income by serving others. My father suggested it would be helpful to have a licensed agent in the family. His interest in real estate investing was back. I signed up for classes and earned my Nebraska salesperson license to help him.

WHO (I work with):

I specialize in working with healthcare professionals. I am one myself. I know the on call and shift change requirements can result in an unusual schedule. Not to mention I interact with a variety of them during the work week. Not to worry, I help people employed in other industries and professions as well!

…so, you aren’t a “full time” agent?

 This question comes up from time to time. There are a few reasons. First is health insurance. My wife and I have access to a very decent plan that we use quite often at an unbeatable price. This is possible with my commitment to 24 hours a week or two 12-hour days. This offers me the opportunity to work on my real estate business the other 5 days of the week as necessary. Another reason is to keep my medical licenses that I have earned up to date and in use. Beyond that it produces a predictable monthly income!

…but what if I need you while you are at work?

Many services can be handled online and/or assisted by other agents if necessary. I have been able to get my buyers into a home and the home under contract while I was working at the hospital. This was in front of many other agents on a competitive listing. No doubt some of them call themselves “full time”. Others “professional” or some similar verbiage. This is to suggest they spend all their time working on their business. The inference is that somehow makes them more valuable. I'm sure you know plenty of full-time workers who don't put in a full effort. In the end it comes down to preparedness. The knowledge and ability to leverage your resources to get the desired outcome.
