About Me

My lifetime of service to this great country is a source of great pride.  My career path has led me to all kinds of interesting places, wonderful people, and challenging situations.  I possess great determination and attention to detail.  That's what you can expect from me when you hire me to make your real estate dream come true.  I enjoy working at Nebraska Realty, and with our partners and affiliates.  I find them to be knowledgable, professional, and friendly.

I consider myself a facilitator and problem-solver, not a salesman.  My job is to guide you through the complex process of sale or purchase of real estate, not to sell you anything.

I grew up in Omaha, attended Westside High School and The University of Nebraska.  I served 24 years as a member of the Army National Guard and Reserves, attaining the rank of Major. I flew a variety of fixed- and rotary wing aircraft.  I joined the U.S. Customs Service (Department of the Treasury) in 1991 as a dual-rated pilot-in-command, flying drug interdiction missions in the U.S. and abroad.  I was a member of the Warrant Entry Tactical Team, an EMT, a UH-60 Blackhawk test pilot, and a fitness instructor.  I retired from Federal Law Enforcement in 2012 after almost 22 years of service.

After retirement, I became a Program Lead for Project Healing Waters, which is a non-profit servicing the needs of disabled military veterans and active duty personnel.  We teach the vets fly fishing, fly tying, rod building, and take them on fishing trips locally and around the world, all at no cost to the vet.  I have a special place in my heart for service members.

My lovely daughter Krista and husband Tim are the proud parents of Hunter, my new grandson!  His father and I are anxiously awaiting the day when we can take him fishing.  My wonderful dog Kona is the best flyfishing dog on the planet.
